Rules

Entry Fee: None

Scoring
Each game is worth 1000pts
Major Victory-800
Minor Victory-650
Tie-500
Minor Loss-350
Major Loss-200
Scores will be cumulative for each game. If you have a minor victory in game 1 and a major loss in game 2 you will have a total of 850pts in your overall score going into game 3.
In case of a tie in overall score at the end of the league there will be a single "sudden death/last man standing" game worth a single point.

Army Requirements
WYSIWYG-Ofcourse some minor wargear may vary(grenades, biomorphs, etc) But all armor and weapons should be properly represented on the appropriate model.
Also you may only enter a single army in the league and may not switch armies during the duration of the league.

Do they have to be the actual warhammer issued figures?
I have some Grey Knight models but could i just use regular SM models for the regular Grey Knights?
P.S. Im thinkin of runnin Grey Knights lol

That wouldn't be WYSISWG would it?

Just saying.

GW has allowed normal marines in as grey knights in there tournaments and that is about as strict WYSIWIG there is, just as long as there is a way to tell the difference between the different squad leaders/special and hvy wpns

How are you going to claim something is a psycannon when it clearly doesn't look like one? Or a storm bolter that isn't a storm bolter?

I think regular space marines work for grey knights, just keep in mind you have to have the weaponry represented as well. So a space marine with a bolter would pass for a grey knight with a bolter in my book. But, and I don't know grey knights that well, for special weapons, psycannons/glaives/etc, yes you would have to have those actually modeled onto the figure to be valid.

i agree, all of the marines had better have force wpns in one hand and appropriate wpns in the other, but i think his dads collection of marines is big enough to do that. and for a psicannon i agree, i will talk to him at school tomarrow and see if he was paling on using one, if he is i might end up converting one for him in exchange for getting someone else to help me paint my kroot but i dont think it would be a problem

Okay, I realized something the other day. Whomever it was that came up with the league schedule is an idiot. They planned to hold the Cadia league game on the 17th of March. This, however. is St. Patrick's Day. A day associated with getting hammered. So, I think it would be wise if we pushed the league night back a week to the next tuesday, the 24th for 2 reasons.
1. I have the feeling some people will be uncomfortable out driving at 8-9pm on St. Patty's Day.
2. People would rather be out drinking on St. Patty's Day.
So, sorry about the convience. The idiot that did this in the first place will be fiercely punished, whomever he or she may be.
If there are any issues with this let me know.

Start time is 6pm.
The Cadia League is basically a beginner league. Starts at a low point value and gradually increases allowing people to build an army as they go.
Right now we are in the middle of the league and not that I frown on you showing up and hoping to play on league nights. Just understand that the league games will have to come first and most generally there are an even amount. Usually the open game nights might be a good way to go. But you might want to post to let someone know you will be there. That way at least someone will make sure to be there.
As far as a tournament goes. If you want to play you probably could. But, I would suggest picking up a few games in 5th edition first. Usually people are fairly open to meeting and playing. A good local resource for making contacts in KC Gaming is www.frostreaver.net Most of us are on it and have started using it to communicate more than this forum.
So what army do you play?

I picked up a Tau army. I have the Battle Force box set plus an addtional 2 crisis suits, APC, and gun drones. I think i can build about a 750 pt army.

I didn't know if you guys allowed someone to join in the middle of the league season that was the main reason i ask. If it starts at 6 thats to early for me anyways.

When are the open play nights?
