in case anyone is interested i have decided it will be map based (working on the map) i think somewhere around 10 rounds should be good, it will use expereance points as described in the 4th ed rule book pg.242 with some stuff changed (most notably the missions). also that means a roster for your army (on pg.237 in the box at the bottom)

if you dont have the 4th ed rule book then let me know and i can explain to you what the rules are.

also if there is anything you would like to see in the campaign just let me know :D

i just got my map, on my way to bed but im using a map of kansas city for it :P

ok, i decided not to use a map of the KC area, couldnt find one the right size... i did find something else interesting though, The Vogen Campaign (dun dun dun) :P

here are the rules, what the locations do, and the map (in that order, and i dont have time to take the colors off the map so ignore those)

ok, i uploaded these, still working on total points values but this way there is one less thing to get lost
this is the roster, you need to fill one of these out for your army
http://www.box.net/shared/02gstzcurj

these are roster cards, they will come into play more when units gain expereance, i am working on setting them up where you can fill them in online (to save trees :P) if anyone knows how to do this and wants to help go ahead
http://www.box.net/shared/2vo2rrdeks

also for the battle honors table, after every game you can re-roll one result, this way you have a bit more controal over what units get what upgrades and such

ok, 9000 points, no force org is what your roster should be, you will need to fallow the force org for the individual games though, for the dark angels olny if you want you can build an entire list of deathwing, but can olny use the deathwing apothecary and standard bearer with the special commander. also remember that unless a unit is destroyed 100% in a game it is all there next game (and drones dont count for this according to the tau codex, some other codexes might have other rules)

also if anyone has any other ideas or anything post them, if its on a weekday we wont be able to do it tell after 3:00 (or later depending on everyone's schedule) because of school

also i am posting this on frost reaver so peope there will also get a vote without having to register, dont cheat and use both accounts to vote for a particular day

I read some of the stuff on the campaign. Are you wanting to just do a 2 player campaign? That is what it says it's desinged for. Because I have been wandering what happens if let's say, A necron player invades a tyranid square... they have a battle for that square, what if on the other side an Eldar moves into a tyranid square? Does the Tyranid have to play 2 games that week?

I think if you found an interested person, or maybe three this might work as a side game. But I think it might be better if let's say, and I'm just thinking here this is your thing, you did it for the most part online. Not the actual games but the map based stuff. Necron player says he will attack Tyranids. So Necron player contacts Tyranid player and sets up a game some time the next week or so, they play and post results. Just sort of a casual reason for games and playing different people.
Even once the 2009 league is up and running we will be having 2 weeks a month of free gaming and that could be a way to fill it if both players want to and are able to fill that night. But again, just thinking.

doing it online sounds fun, but no this one isnt, and its for as many people as want to play, if something like that happens we could do a 3 way game :D it seems easier than the alternative(, cron vs. nid then nid vs. eldar, if eldar and cron both win they vs. each other)

ok, the tournament is planed for the second week of december, not many people have signed up for it so it the first game will probably be the 13th or 14th unless more people vote for what day. any problems/questions contact me or post them

also forge world stuff is allowed but unless otherwise stated (or you have a good reason) its a hvy slot and you will still need to fill up your FOC
