Magic on Monday?

Postby isoace on Thu Aug 21, 2008 9:15 pm

I enjoy magic, but don't have the financial ability to make up decks that stand a great chance in constructed matches. (I have many old cards) I would enjoy to play where everyone is on somewhat equal footing with Booster draft. The problem is that I have school almost the entire day, from 9 am to 7 30pm, so 6 at night is out of the question. I just wanted to know if the day could be changed to Monday night. 4-8 is small but if you can change it to Monday, I can bring three more people (For sure). I'm not sure if 45 dollars (plus snacks and such) would be enough to change the day, but I did figure that it wouldn't be a bad idea to see.

Also could anyone tell me how sealed on Saturday works and how many people usually turn up?

We've been posting sealed on Saturdays, but haven't had enough for sanctioning in a while. With fall approaching, that may change.

We can run a draft on Mondays, and it would be better if it could start earlier (like 4pm) to finish by 8pm or so. If people show up September 8th and call ahead if they are going to be later than 4pm, we can try a test run. Could even do a Rochester. We'll continue to have the Tuesday draft, so this would be something seperate people could attend if they want to.
