some sort of painting event? something where ppl get together and discuss painting and modeling techniques maby?

Games/Events that I'd most like to be a part of in 2009?

1) Heroclix League. The last four Fridays at 6pm. REALLY looking forward to this!

2) Getting in some more Warmachine and Hordes. The Grind event sounds interesting. I'll have to pull that No Quarter out and glance at the rules again!

3) My "History of Heroclix/Wizkids" event last Friday got me excited for some more Mage Knight action. I might look to set up a Mage Knight event at some point in 2009. I know that Game Cafe has some inventory on this great game that died an early death. Maybe we could help reduce that stock pile some.

4) I just found out that my niece is interested in Yu-Gi-Oh. I NEVER thought that I'd get into that game. Nothing wrong with it, just never intrigued me. Well, now I'm going to have to at least buy some beginning stuff (I guess a couple of starters). I might check out the tournament scene after we get used to the game and see if she wants to try her hand at game tournaments.

5) I'd like to get into an RPG group at some point. I'm not looking to GM. I just want to play at this point in time. Games that I'd most like to play:

a) Aberrant (White Wolf/Superheroes)

b) Godlike (WWII Superheroes)

c) Robotech (Macross/Invid Invasion)

d) Rifts

e) D&D 4th edition. I've got the main books but haven't had the chance to play yet.

f) D&D 3.0/3.5. I've had some playtime in this format.

g) Star Wars (preferably West End Games d6 version).

e) I'm sure many others.


So basically: Heroclix, Mage Knight, Warmachine/Hordes, RPG's.

HeroClix and Pokemon FTW. I mean, if HeroClix is still kicking with Wizkids gone, how come there is no one on a regular basis for Pokemon?!? Where are you Elija and crew?

I just got some heroclix stuff so im gonna play that.

I have a boatload of older MageKnight, all pre 2.0.

I'm going to get boardgame night started again. Have some I really want to play! I am interested in painting and miniature games of all types, too. Would like to play in a RPG group that was an "off hours" time.
