Sorry I couldn't get more than my one (QUICK) game in with Lloyd.

I was at the store for about six hours though.

I won't be there tonight, but I'm still hoping that maybe someone could squeeze in a game with me Friday between 3:30 and 5:30 (maybe two if they go fast). If a game runs long, I can still play while I'm running my event, but there will be a LOT of interruptions. Heroclix will come first, obviously.

I would also be up for a game or three from 9 or so when Heroclix ends and midnight.

I can't play Lloyd next so is Alex available?

Do you think you two can make it up there tomorrow afternoon?

Well me and alex will be up there tom for the most part... Friend of ours truck's coil just shot... that or hopefully not the alternator... so it looks like i will be a little caught up one day this weekend but only for a few hours, more info on that later, other wise im up for anything.

Well, I'll need to play Alex first since you're the last person I played, Lloyd, but I'd love to get another game with you in as well.

Do you think Alex could be ready to go by 3:45 ish? I should be there and I need to try to be done by 5:30.

I might not be available, but I'd like to try if possible. However, I just don't want to sit up there all day waiting for a game. I've got stuff at home that I need to do in that case.

Week 2 begins.

I can play a game today, but I will be a little late. Possibly 5:30 or so. Definately fielding a whole new army list this time.

Ron, are you interested in trying to get a 1000 point game in today?

I could be there by 5:45-6:00. That should give us almost two hours.

I'm using this tournament as a chance to learn more about the game.

I completed all of my goals for week one:

Get used to my 500 point warband and fortify my basic rules knowledge.

With week two starting I'd like to start getting used to new pieces and new warcasters as well as get used to fielding bigger forces.

I'm hoping to get at least two 1000 point games in this week as well as some 500 and maybe 750 point matches.

Payday is Thursday, maybe I could get Tom to order a few more pieces for me so that I can fill out that 1500 point force for week three. I don't think I'll be able to hit that 2000 point force before the tournament is over though.

I cannot do 1000 tonight. Speaking from experience, two hours is very iffy at that size. I am more than willing to do 750 however. I will check back here in 20 minutes.

Sure, I could do 750. I'll need to work on a force list.

I'm wanting a 1000 points soon so that I can use a warcaster that I'm comfortable with AND try out a new one at the same time. Kind of a passing the torch sort of thing if you will.

Still, I understand...we do have time constraints throughout the week.

Is there a day coming up that you think you could do the 1000 point game?

I'm thinking that unless Lloyd borrows Alex's mercenaries (and they work for Circle), then you're the only one playing that can field a 1000 point oppossing army to answer the challenge.

There are only a couple solos that are mercenary that will work for Circle, but they happen to be minions too.

Lloyd says he's got 1000 point dwarves coming up at some point.

I'm pretty sure I can full scale all the way up to 2000 with what I own.

Monday night, I know the store closes sharply at 8, since there are no late running events. If Christoper has a late-running event like a magic (is there one on tuesday?) tournament, AND we can both get there by 5 to start setting up, 1000 has a very good shot. Setup becomes much more important at 1000, and packing up afterward takes longer.

750 is essentially the 500 point game with the extras you always wanted. It's still one caster, but you can go epic.

Unless I can leave work early, I can't get to the store by 5:00 since I don't get off until 5:00. 5:30 is about the best that I can do and that's if I have everything with me and I don't go home to change or eat anything.

As for upgrading my force...I'm planning on being able to hit 2000 with these guys at some point. Once I start looking at cavalry and the warjacks that I don't have, that will fill up the difference pretty quickly as well as grabbing a couple of other Epic casters.

I'm not that interested in most of Khador's troops. I'm thinking that my Khador force will almost always be a "Heavy Armored Division" concept. Warjacks, Man-O-War, Iron Fangs and cavalry will probably be the basic make-up of the force. I'm likely to skip the Winter Guard all-together.

Cryx and Cygnar I can already hit 2000 so I'm good there.

I am glad that I went with Khador though. It's nice that there isn't any current player that I can't play against.

Actually, we're pretty lucky in that regard in this league. Only Ron and Sam can't play each other with seven players. If Matt ends up joining in, he still won't duplicate with his PoM. Nice!
