Who is interested in the 40k Spring Leagues?

Meet other players, play a few games, paint, and have fun. Tournaments will be posted here. Currently meeting Tuesdays 6pm until close.

Who is interested in the 40k Spring Leagues?

Okay the posts about the leagues have been up for a little while now and I am curious who and how many are planning on participating in the leagues.

I myself am going to be entering both the Armageddon League and the Cadia League with my Ork army. I thought about starting a Marine army for the Cadia league, but I think I had better focus on painting my Orks more than starting another 40k force right now.

I Plan on being there for both. As for the army I'll play, that's still up in the air. It's hard not to play my Blood Angels, but I'm thinking about playing either IG or Eldar.

I'm interested. My force is completed yet and I'm scrambling to get it done. I know the models need to be WYSIWYG, but do they need to be 100% painted?

No, Painting is not a requirement of this league. We were considering it for the Armageddon League, but I feel we are still getting started and a 100% painted requirment might be a deterant. So as long as you have corresponding models it doesnt' matter if they are properly painted or not.
So what army do you run? And which league/leagues are you interested in?

I'd be interested in the Armageddon League.

I play Chaos.

I moved here a while back from California and just got wheels. I'm hoping to get back into the hobby.

i try and get a game whenever i can, the tournaments are on tuesdays and so ive kept with that and asked before every tuesday but everything has wound down over the holidays

there is also another group at frostreaver.net, it is focused at pulp fiction in lee summit but they also play at game cafe and in other places

Hopefully my IG will be showing up again...
lol i will be tryin out new IG tactics this time around...
I will not be adding anything to the IG until the new codex comes out
(however new faces will be in my army)
