Hey guys,
I am trying to start a local bi-monthly heroscape group. Anyone interested? If so email me at: paradox22@sbcglobal.net Thus far I have about 10 or so interested players from the area. We all met up at recruitsCon in Lees Summit last sunday and had a blast! Now all we need is a place to game on a regular basis.
Here is a forum we started to coordinate events: http://www.getphpbb.com/phpbb/kcheroscapers.html
Thanks,
Dan

paradox, I am there, just tell me when to show up. I have plenty of terrain if we need it for a map or two. Let me know...
Anyone who is even remotely interested in HeroScape should come by and say hi, and we'll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. We hope you'll find this game as enjoyable as we do...

thanks for the response guys... I have emailed the owners to get permission for us to play at their store... usually it wouldn't be necessary, but I think we might have 10+ people show up so i thought it would be prudent.

Ok I'll just try to get I MS of terrain ready incase. I'm guessing 500 point armies and maybe build some for players trying out a "demo"?
Edit: Well that was fun. I went to Super-Target or whatever it's called by TGI Fridays and found a pack of Snipers and Vipers, they still Heroes of Bleakewood left so if you don't have one they may still have that pack left.

Hey guys, just wanted to express interest on this. My roommate would probably also be interested, I'll talk to him about it.
The only problem that might come up is our weird schedules, we both work nights/evenings/weekends. But keep me posted if you get a time for this (assuming you want any more players)!

Sounds like the club is centered in Lee Summit at the Pulp Fiction game store. Andy is a nice guy, and I hope the group is doing well. There were some Hero Scape players local to the Independence area that were interested in playing up here. Now that the event hall is finished we have PLENTY of room to do so.
Better news is that now that Wizards of the Coast has had Heroscape turned over to them, they are starting to produce the game again. It's been about a year since anything was done with the game, and now your local hobby stores have the opportunity to carry it and run tournaments for you!
We haven't decided how much of the new set to get, so please contact us if you want to Pre-Order new sets so you can be sure you get them when they come out. And be sure to support your local stores with your purchases wherever they may be!
