If you are looking for a group to join or start, you can talk about it here.
Advice from an old DM: Just be sure you meet the people you are going to play with in a public place so you can chat about your gaming styles (like Game Cafe), before you jump in and start playing. A D&D campaign can last many sessions, and it's no fun if you don't get along with each other the first time you meet in person. It will save you a lot of time (like speed dating for those that don't date)

|
|
Hello! Hopefully this is the correct place to post this, apologies if it is not.
My name is Ethan and my co-workers have started a DnD group that meets at Benetti's Coffee Experience (6109 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, MO 64133) 4:00pm(CST) on Sundays.
We're looking for a couple of new members to make our group more well-rounded. No previous experience is necessary, in fact some of our member are just beginning so this may not be the group for you more advanced players.
We play a mix of 3.5/3.0 rules. What this means is: if you like a particular rule/item/feat from 3.0 just ask the DM (that will be me most of the time) and we'll probably let you use it. We've got access to most common DnD material including Forgotten Realms and a minor amount of Ebberon and D20 Warcraft books.
If you're interested you can stop by on Sunday or send me an e-mail at ethanchapman5@yahoo.com.
Thanks,
Ethan

Me, a friend and his brother all are very much into D&D... the only problem being is we haven't had a game out side our own 5 players and would like to maybe join into a group of players so that we can have some new ideas(we have had 6 "kill the rats in the celler" quests in a row and starting to get old) Would like to have a set date as to play but can't be Friday or Saturday due to my friends religion.
Thanks, Phane _________________ "There comes a time in a mans life when he needs to face the one thing that stands in the way between him and victory... I like to wave at them as they fly by." -Phane Mari

Hello, looking for a gaming group. I know my way around 2nd Edition and 3.5, although I'm extremely fine houseruling the heck out of everything. I actually prefer custom rules to the d20 system...

Currently, in the Independence area, although since I'm on the job hunt, that is subject to change... We'll say Independence.

Is anyone looking to make a 4e group? I was at the release and really enjoyed it. I'm familiar with 3.5 and 3.0 but I don't even own the 4e books yet. I figured I'd check to see if anyone was interested before getting them.

Well, hopefully Azariah is still checking the board.. heh.
I was also at the release and I enjoyed it quite a lot. I would be interested in starting/joining a group but my schedule is up in the air at the moment (I'm going to be moving to a new apartment over the next few weeks which will take up most of my free time).
I have the core books and Keep on the Shadowfell. I prefer to play rather than DM (for wholly selfish reasons I admit) but could DM if no one else was willing.
You can contact me here on the boards or email me at trnorris@yahoo.com.
