Game Cafe presents it's first weekly RocknRoll Saturday Night!!

On July 5th, you can join the five hour party of Rock Band antics from 7pm to 12am, all for a mesely entry fee of $5 to ROCK ALL NIGHT!!

We'll have the downstairs area setup with a projector to play off the wall like a giant screen TV, mood lighting and it wouldn't be Rock n Roll if it wasn't LOUD! We'll pipe the Rock through the newly installed stereo system!

Sign ups to Rock begin right at 7pm and we'll get started immediately. You can sign up an entire three or four player band or sign up by yourself to play a specific instrument.

Bands will be called up (or quickly put together) to play a set of two songs; the first of their choice and a second at random. Each player can play at whatever difficulty they would like. If after their set the audience calls for an encore they can play a third song of their choosing. With more than 200 songs to choose from, the RocknRoll won't get old and boring.

For posterity we will be coming up with Band Names and recording the best scores for songs. So your band can be put in the Game Cafe RocknRoll Saturday Hall of Fame!

We may order pizza to feed the masses (though this will cost extra, price to be determined then - probably $2 a slice; fountain drinks upstairs).

This will be our first RocknRoll Saturday Night so we will be tech testing our equipment and getting ready for competition nights and be ready for Guitar Hero 4: World Tour when it comes out in October.

So come on in and slap down a mesely $5 to play Rock and Roll all night!

Rock band night is awesome but i think we should try to find a way to do it more than a couple times a month .... and i can't wait for battle of the bands !!!!
