The final permitting with the city is done, so now we can work on EVERYTHING on remodeling the basement. I will be working on the basement heavily this week, and I have some of you volunteering to come in and help. That's great!

The back offices are almost completely framed. The bathrooms and ceiling have had all the bad stuff gutted out. We have a lot of framing to do, then electrical (yes, Bumgardner Electric is a licensed contractor), then dry wall, mudding, finishing, and then flooring! RA Knapp Construction is handling the project and the back entrance, but volunteers can help with so many small things.

If you have helped me before and have talked to me before about helping, give me a call this week on the store phone and the person answering will tell you if I'm there and that you can come help, or leave a message and I'll call you back.

We will get this place done!!!

Framing for some of the back rooms is up, looks like Tom's got some of the electrical going..

Just needs a LOT of space cleaning and re-arranging...

All the trash is now out of the basement and loaded up for the landfill tomorrow. All that remains is material that will end up being used, is needed to build the basement, or is going to be stored down there anyway.

I will be working up there each evening this week!
