Speak up if you still play WM in the area. This is only a three week event, so to get in our games we may need to arrange to meet during the week.

I am interested, but my free time is so sparse/hit-or-miss right now that I just can't commit to anything.

Any and all information about the Rampage deal would be appreciated.

I don't check the boards much so please e-mail me at:

Are there specific factions that have to be played?

Is there a standard point limit for these games or do they vary?

What are the rules on finding opponents? Can you keep playing the same guy?

What're the rules on number of games that need to be played?

Entry fee?

Thanks!

Yes, you pick a faction. Mercs are treated 'like a faction' for this event. Points racked up by your faction contribute to the national points totals for your faction.

Standard point sizes are 500, 750, 1000, 1500, and 2000

I haven't read through the rules with a fine tooth comb, but I don't think you can play the same person twice in a row.

I'm not sure there's a 'minimum' to the games you have to play.

Tom has not announced a fee as far as I know.

Check out the shiny merits you can earn by playing in this event!

I think I really like the last two. Merits for playing with half/all of your casters over the course of the event.

Oh my goodness that's a lot of badges!!!

Do we know who's playing what factions or is it a secret?

It would kind of suck with so few of us competeing, for us to be competing for the same faction badges.

I'm sure Tom's playing Cryx.

I'm guessing that you're playing Cygnar or Mercs?

My gut is to do Cygnar since they're my faves, but I could try out a couple of others.

I've got a little bit of Khador, a LOT of Cryx, a little bit of PoM (but not sure what I have - it's Matt's old stuff and I still haven't looked at it yet).

I'll have to think about this for a second or so.

This starts on the 21st?

Slowly reading through the rules sheet here.

Ouch, cannot play against players of the same faction. I've already declared Cygnar. I could switch to Mercs if I really had to, but i've been playing them all summer.

I'll try my luck with someone else.

I do have a good bit of mercs, but never really saw them as much of their own faction...at least the hodge podge that I've got.

I don't really know what I have for Protectorate so I probably won't play them.

I guess that means Khador. I'll be limited on casters and figs, but I think I can have fun with what I've got.

Sure, that will be a good excuse to try them out.

Khador it is!

You know, I never even thought about Hordes factions.

I have a decent amount of Trollbloods and whatever Skorne Matt gave me.

Still, I'm listed as Khador unless I change my mind between now and then.

I don't think I'll be able to hit some of those higher point games with my Khador forces.

I THINK I can hit 1000, but not 2000.

I'll have to double check my forces.

So who wants to play when?

It starts Monday so throw out some times and I'll see what I can make.

Oh, Mon - Thurs. I work until 5 pm (if I don't have to pull some overtime). I could probably be at Game Cafe by 6 pm.

I work until 4-5, and can be at game cafe 5-6ish. Friday nights are out, I have D&D, and you're running clix. Some saturdays might work, I'm not sure how it's going to work with me running D&D coming up in a few weeks.

Occasional weeknights sound good. Tenatively want to play a game the 21st. Start off easy with a 500pt game. Any terrain required by the event that we do not have will be done with paper templates of the appropriate size.

Okay, I'll pencil in Monday the 21st at 6pm.

Khador vs. Cygnar (500 Points).

Are there time limits on these things? If so, how long?

So if I can't play the same person twice in a row I guess I'll need to arrange to alternate between you and Tom.

I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully, I'll be able to play quite a few games in these three weeks.

No time limit unless agreed upon by players. We can be reasonable about this. If you have to leave by X hour, let me know, and we should call 'time' fifteen minutes before that so we can pack up. Also I think the store closes at 8, unless Tom is there to stay with us. So that would make 7:45 the call for 'final round'.

We can dig up Lloyd to play with his Circle army. James may still be lurking out there somewhere with his Cygnar. Tom's has some new toys for his Cryx army to field too. He's got the Asphyxious now, and man do I hate fighting him.

James was in over the weekend, and Christopher told him about the Summer Rampage. Don't know if he will be playing or not. Matt stopped in the store today to say hi, but I just missed him.

Monday I have to be at a class with Julie at 6pm, so I doubt I can participate unless someone shows up EARLY like 4pm and I get my work done. I bet Noah and Sam would want to come up and play. Sam is Cygnar and Noah is Everblight.

Yes, I'll be Cryx!! I might get some play time in this weekend!

Minimum game size is 500 points. Are your boys ready for that?
